Because she's doing a cover of a revered band's song. I guess?

I think she's talented, and a breath of fresh air for pop music.

Like it or not, Courtney Love would've been better.

I found St. Vincent to be tremendous live last Friday. Successfully pulled off the plan of seeing Screaming Females open at Mr. Smalls before heading down to Stage AE for St. Vincent. The Screaming Females gal was pretty nuts (in a good way). I never even knew who was headling that show, and when we were leaving a friend of a couple guys in my concert crew lambasted us for leaving such a rare show. The headliner was The Julie Ruin, who I know nothing about. This dude made the band sound like a pretty big deal.

The singer of the Julie Ruin is an iconic female punk figure.

That's what I've heard about the recent AM shows. Interesting that Orwells would state that after opening for AM in the past couple of months.

Nick Oliveri singing with QOTSA last night gives me high hopes of a reunion.

It saddens me that one of my favorite bands is in town at AE tonight, but nope....gotta work. I really wanted to see Ghost BC.

I know some of you went to Pitt in the early 2000s, I hate that you got a free QOTSA concert for your Bigelow Bash. Did anyone bychance attend this show?

Doom Abuse by The Faint is really good. Maybe their best album yet. I mean, if you're into The Faint, that is

Did anybody see the Boss the other night? If so how does Tom Morello's playing style mesh with Bruce's songs?
