I honestly just have it on shuffle on my android phone. Drinking wine and playing fetch with my dog and listening to some songs.

I like it....I listen to it all the time at work. All you gotta do is search say Metallica, everyone associated in the Metallica vain will come up. I listen to heavy metal radio, and grunge radio a lot. But I'm old....so yeah.

Right I get that, just haven't used it much in the past few months. Generally I am either asleep or watching movies.

Well I finished watching clerks 2. I actually have to be up at 8am but I'm not much of a sleeper. So my he'll is staying up half the night in my place listening to Pandora, maybe strum my guitar. Sounds a lot of exciting then what it really is.

I don't know if there are any Miles Davis fans here, but I found a great deal on Agharta - the live album from the mid 70s. Jazz/rock/funk fusion at its finest.

Google Play store offered it for $16.99 (it's a double CD), but if you purchase the individual tracks (five) it's $4.95. Derp. Amazon has it priced that way, too. However, iTunes has it set up so you have to buy the entire album to get all five tracks.

I love Miles Davis, but never really liked his fusion stuff. I guess I'm not much into fusion/crossover stuff in general.

I'd be all over that Agharta deal if I didn't already have my dad's vinyl and CD copies. I personally prefer Pangaea, which is from the evening show at the same venue. Both are incredible though.

Anyone listen to the new Deftones yet?

I've heard leathers and tempest. Very good but then again I love the Deftones. I will be purchasing this album along with the new soundgarden this Tuesday.

I am so psyched to see Quadrophenia & more tonight. Only 2 of the 4 originals, and they are pushing 70, but just the history of this group and this album does it for me.

Is Pino Palladino still on bass? If anyone could replace John Entwistle, it's him.

According to wiki, he's still touring with them.

Maybe I'm putting too much thought about this, but at what point does a band lose it's identity as a band? I get that The Who continues to tour, and as long as Daltrey and Townsend are in the band, they are still The Who. To me, they were always the two most identifiable members of the band, although I say this as somebody who knows the band through a few hits and not somebody who knows their history, their albums, etc.

But say that Daltrey says in a year or two "I'm pushing 70, I'm tired of traveling. This touring crap isn't for me. I'm done." Daltrey says he's done, but Townsend want to continue to tour. He finds a replacement and he goes on using The Who name. Would you consider them to be The Who despite the band only using one member of their most notable lineup?
