I've only ever heard of that band and had no idea they were from Greensburg.
Weird.

Yeah, I never really had a sense of how much of a following they had nationally since they were a local band. I was never really much of a fan but I think I thought it was cool that they were local.

They were totally the Clarks of that early 2000's emo scene.

Haha, I feel like they had a better national following than the Clarks, but I also think I thought the Clarks did back in middle school, so...

Who did he suggest? I'm curious.

Your into a lot of electronic stuff right? That ASAP album uses what seems like house or electronic a lot. he does a song with skrillex that is really cool.

So who is into Death Grips?
I never really got around to check them out and then I saw on Man Man's Facebook page yesterday that Fred Armisen spent a couple minutes raving about their drummer on the Rachel Ray show the other day. Not sure if its really something I could get into.

It's mostly unlistenable. Listen to the song "i've seen footage" and if you can't take that, walk away.

Well then...that kind of changes things. I think that I've seen footage is the most accesible track on that album. It's mostly just hardcore, violent raping over strange noises.

Wow. So not only were the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds rumors true, but Grinderman is playing also?? That's pretty nuts.

Eric Prydz is gonna be there? It would be a lot of fun if he brought the babes from the Call on Me video.
