Any thoughts on the MBV album?

My first impression is it sounds a little tame.

The first two thirds, maybe. I mean, it's still good, but yeah, it isn't quite as mindblowing as their classics. Those last three songs, though? Oh lawd... I can only dream of the day when ANOTHER mbv album comes out, exploring that direction even further.

In Another Way is fantastic, and so is New You. It's true, the second half is anything but tame. I'm a little afraid to put on headphones and listen to Wonder 2 at a really high volume.

Yeah, I've always liked this version -- dig the different intro.

1992....the red hot chili peppers playing SNL. John Frusciante has grown very tired of touring, he is high and on drugs. This is his last song before he leaves the band. I believe he shot up heroin before this also. This might be my favorite version of Under The Bridge ever.

No surprise that Aaron Dessner from The National produced it. While I'm glad they toned down the Animal Collective tribal BS, it's definitely a bit boring at times. I'm sure it'll grow on me.

Any guitarists here able to recommend strings for an electric guitar? Probably going out today because mine go out of tune if you bend them ever so slightly.

I'm looking at stainless steel, because I heard those stay in tune better and, from what I've seen, fit my playing style better.

No, I've had only electrics. I heard the stainless stayed in tune the best, but no one has them
