there's no way gaslight anthem would be a +1, this is a very bogus formula anyway. it seems like the small print acts are a random combination of hip hop, dj's, local cali bands and some prominent acts.

LOL, sorry man. I almost felt bad doing it. Knowing what Ministry recorded in their first two decades and seeing what they've become now is night and day. I think a lot of creativity left the band when Paul Barker left in 2003. Since then, it's been nothing but the same sound over every song, which yes includes the Ministry cover CD. Even the Buck Satan CD, which was supposed to be Al's country music project that was mentioned probably since the mid 90s but wasn't released until either 2011 or 2012, fell into this same formula.

agreed. Just realized 2 Chainz is on there. Liking him gets you a +1? That would never fly on Planet Hipster.

I was not really a fan at all the first several songs. The guy's voice sort of sounds like Andrew McMahon (or fill in the blank early 00s nasal pop punk/emo lead) trying to do his best Bob Dylan. They did sort of grow on me, though. When the percussion guy broke out the hand saw for one song, I was pretty impressed.
I wasn't a fan either. That drummer had talent though.... he played everything. The folks I was with had a bet going as to whether he was going to play that coat rack (Lumineers stage prop)
i think there are a couple of spencer krug fans in this thread...i just heard "With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery". good god it's amazing. krug is categorically my favorite musician and it took me like a freaking year to even find out that this album existed. i don't know how this could have happened.
