Been listening to that Deafheaven album a little bit. Immediately brings to mind ZAO, which is pretty awesome. That Sunbather song is pretty awesome, a little too length at 9 minutes though.

Not sure how Papa Roach didn't sneak onto one of these bills.

hahaha... i missed the word "awful" in that post, and i was like "WTF, Troy Loney?" smashmouth is worse than a hundred nicklebacks...

Let's not get crazy here.

Smash Mouth is awful, even horrible, but worse than 100 Nickelbacks?

I think Smash Mouth is inflating their suck by touring with Sugar Ray now. That'd be like a Nickelback/Creed tour in 2020, so until Nickelback starts doing "remember us" tours...I can get on board with Froggy's assesment.

Edit, I think I just filled that bill out. Nickelback, Creed and Godsmack, I bet this happens at some point in the future....makes me feel better about any potential apocolyptic demise to occur before then.

Checked out Yeezus. Terrible. But "I am God (feat. God)" is a pretty good song title.

Fair enough. I'd probably agree with all of the above.

Although the genres may not match, I can see Fred Durst talking his way into having Limp Bizkit as an opening act on certain parts of the tour.

Yeah, they're good. Not an easy listen, but well worth it. More intelligent/advanced music that seems on the surface.

Anyone familiar with this Nerves Junior band? I got one of their songs on Spotify radio today and enjoyed it.

Sigh....I actually liked Limp Bizkits 3 Dolla Bill Y'all album. I kinda went through a nu metal phase in 98/99. Bands like Static X, Apartment 26 etc were decent and populated the stages at Ozzfest from 98-03.

I actually saw them a few times when I was stationed in FLA. Pre-3 Dolla in the basement of a bar in Jacksonville with Mickey's grenades on special for a dolla....umm, dollar.

and I read one joke about Creed today, and what shows up on twitter?

Guessing Creed decided to drag Timmy along for the ride.

10 Best Daft Punk Songs:

Meh, their best songs are Revolution 909 and Fresh. One More Time is annoying and Harder Better Faster Stronger is just terrible.

Anyone know how one can acquire a VIP box seat or two for outdoor Stage ae shows? Looking to sit in those chairs between the concrete pit and the lawn.

Obtain power and friends.

Honestly, I've seen them for sale during on-sales in the past.

Been listening to this beautiful Boston album all day. I could never appreciate it when I was younger, but now that I'm getting more mature (I think?), I feel it's one of the best vocally-driven Rock albums I ever heard.

One of the very few albums ever made where every single song could've been a legit radio hit, and half were.

I've had this theory for about a decade now. Somebody should go back and re-write the lyrics and vocal parts to all Limp Bizkit songs post-3 Dolla Bill Y'All. In my mind the music is surprisingly good in a fair amount of cases ("Nookie" aside). It's that the singing/rapping and lyrics are so terrible.
