Gotta go with Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside this Friday.

Pennywise has been on my list probably since high school but I've also heard good things about ...Trail of Dead's shows.

Also of note, Monster Mayhem Fest or whatever it's called is this Friday. Saw it last year, but there isn't much on this year's roster that would get me through the door especially with other shows happening the same night.

Yeah, Rancid is more like that for me than Pennywise, so I'll be overlooking anything else that might come up when Rancid is in town in September.

How is Club Cafe these days? It has been a long while since I've been there. Are the late shows (SF & TSO is the 10:30 show) very well attended?

Totally understandable. Headliners lately have been disappointing save for a few years. If they'd swap 5FDP with Lamb of God inside I'd be way more excited.

I saw Zombie last year and he does put on a good show. I wouldn't mind seeing him a second time I guess.

But for the remaining lineup? Machine Head and Mastadon are about it. The rest of them can kick rocks.

Basically the ONLY reason I'm going early is to catch Born of Osiris.

I saw Dax Riggs ex of Acid Bath there. I'd say maybe 50 people were there.

Isn't the Mayhem show July 12? Like tomorrow?

Cover song ideas? We need about 13 more songs to get to 40 total. We do everything from STP and MetallicA to rock covers of Adelle and Lady Gaga. I'm running out of ideas. Classic rock, modern rock, pop, it's all up for discussion.

Maybe I should specify no speed metal

And Dyers Eve would be epic if our drummer could actually play the double bass that fast.

Really? Are you a drummer? Cause....it is. That's constant 36th notes on the double bass. It takes quite a bit of skill to pull it off.

Yeah....that's fast.....

Yes im a drummer...all I do is play 16th notes in a standard 4/4 time. I have 2 high hats, one by the snare with a drop clutch and one by the lower floor tom. Playing the floor tom hat makes it easier to play simply cause you don't have to cross your arms. It sounds harder then what it is truthfully.
