Witt with two goals, Tavares got one and they've won four in a row

Man crush - Matt Moulson

To expand the Moulson - Tavares - Okposo line looks great and is very dangerous, especially on the PP.

i was sad when the pens let him walk. he was dynamite at Cornell, and i was sure he'd be an NHL'er. i even created him in NHL06 i think, put him up on Sid's line. lol.

He took a long time to actually do well but, he's pretty damn good in front of the net and back-checks like mad, reminds me of Malone when he was here except Moulson tries all the time.

From Mark Spector's article; bill guerin giving Tavares grief in 1st game...as only Guerin can do. :P

Plus, nice words for Sid and his continued evolution.
"Look at Sidney," Weight said. "Sidney came into the league and made a lot of fancy plays early in his career. (Now) he's all about going to the net, throw it wide and get the rebound... That's why he's getting 125 points instead of 85. He knows what his game is now.
There are less highlights, perhaps, Weight figures, "but more production. And a tougher player to play against. Less turnovers."

What do I know; I wasn't thrilled to see Sid fight, but he is his own person and continues to mature and lead the pens.

If anything, it'd be nice if they can start winning some games against the division to sort of level everything out, making it easier for us to pull ahead.
