Neil Abbott, Roenick's agent, sent a statement to The Hockey News on Monday, saying that Roenick "is considering all of his options, including retirement, [but] has made no final decision."

Joe Mullen will remain #2 among US born players in goals and points if Roenick retires. Otherwise, Roenick will likely pass him, especially in the goal department.
