Oh yeah i'll repost even though i'm assuming there will be another topic anyway.

Prefer forward, and if we can pick numbers, my preference in order is 2, 22, 47

I'm in.

Is there a league feature, as well? I'd definitely be interested in some sort of dynasty mode if a few people want to get in on one.

You should check out this site. It lists some of the "major" teams in the EASHL

http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/NHL_09/EASHL

Team LGP vs. HFBoards should be interesting

I doubt if I will be using my real name. Knowing me it will probably be some form of parody/joke name. Number preference would be 2 or 7.

Edit:

Decide I would go ahead and throw together a roster update, because I am ridiculously pumped.

If I buy a 360 and join I first thought of the name BigSwede but then realized I'd go with Swedsquatch and make my player big and as bearded/hairy as possible. Wouldn't that just be the best name ever 8-)

I just made the cut on the Xbox-Sports team (Team XBS). LGP was def my next choice as I would love to play with all pens fans! Thankfully there are quite a few on Team XBS. I'm not sure how scheduling works but you can use me as a contact for Team XBS to schedule games if need be.

We have been following the development on NHL 09 very closely. The game and EASHL specifically are geared toward a positional and realistic style of play. Keep that in mind guy. Cherry picking, poor defense and weak shots are counted against you. Just scoring goals is not enough.

Good Luck Team LGP! I look forward to seeing you guys on the ice this fall!

Great video explaining how the whole mmo league thing works and all its great features. Looks very promising, must be awesome doing this with online or irl friends.

This one's also about the online play:

Stupid question now but keep in mind I don't even own a 360 yet.

How does one get online with it? :) One has to connect it to one's computer I guess?

Thanks man!

If I buy a 360 it'd be only to play NHL and still I fear I'm leaning towards doing just that :P

300 Dollars is just 1800 Swedish crowns. That'd be sweet. Now I only need someone to send it to me as a packaged gift to avoid penalty duty or whatever it's called when you have to pay a fee in customs.
