In the be a pro menu (I think, I am not at home in front of the game now) you have a player progress or player attribute section. You go there to change it. When I get home I will write down exactly how to get there from the starting menu. You wont be getting EXP very often but it will help. Everyone starts with 3 points per catagory so its key to use those asap.

Yeah i figured it out, its just in edit attributes in edit a pro. Speed costs all 3 of your points for athleticism though which is annoying. I didn't spend them on that.

Okay, I'm finally on the roster on there..

No one was in the dressing room, so I left

My player name is listed as "-"

Does it update that after you play your 1st game?

Yeah it just uses the most recent name you've played as. Unless you have a name that isn't allowed such as "He Hate Me"

We were 12-27 but Demon, Diddy, someone else and I just tore it up two straight games.

Gordie Hoserman got a goal, congrats Demon :).

I played 0 online games. The one time I tried, we never found a team.

I made it from the 3rd d-pairing at Wilkes-Barre to the 3rd d-pairing in Pittsburgh though. Was a plus-2 and an assist in my first NHL game, with my first assist on a Sidney Crosby goal.

Dare I say it...but after hours of playing this game, I don't like it. I have gotten dropped or disconnected from roughly half of the games that I have played, for one. Secondly, it is nearly impossible for me to score. I mean, I set up one-timers all day, I will have literally 30+ shots and barely be able to score once. Meanwhile, my opponent has 11 shots and wins 3-1/3-0.

I mean, what more can I possibly do? I just don't know how to score with the stick shooting. Like, if you're skating down and you need to elevate the puck, how do you do it? You're already holding down to skate towards the net, so when you get a quick shot off, it just slides harmlessly on the ice to the goalie. I'm sorry, but this game kinda sucks.

No, the camera follows your player the entire time. It changes constantly...

Kicksave, I havent had too many problems like youre describing. Only once has it not found a team for me to play against. I've managed to get into over 25 online games in the last two days. I hope it works better for you soon.

Question for you guys, I created the PS3 team last night and sent out the invites and such. How do I get my be a pro player online? I messed with it for like a half hour last night and couldn't get my guy online.

I've only gotten booted out of a game one time, and it said it was our opponents problem (and scored a win for that game).

As far as not finding opponents, the last 2 nights I've had no issue until around 10 at night. Then it seems to take at least 10 minutes of searching to find an opponent.

Only 10 or 11. I'm being paired with Darryl Sydor.

Evan et al,

There's a much easier way to get into OTP games. I'll post the way to find them when I get home.

The EASHL server takes forever. Diddy and I waited 10 minutes to get into a team LGP game.

Right now, Kendall and I can't get anything to work. Not the LGP team, not regular OTP, not regular VS. The leaderboards are down, maybe EA is fixing the problem.

Sounds good Jesse.

And if I'm understanding this correctly, then as you recieve cards in OTP, those translate into points you can use on your character?

Evan, you've played 28 games, have you added any points other than the 3 that came with your guy when the game started?

Btw, you played 20+ games and have 8 goals, I've played 5 games and have 8 goals.

First off, here's why the leaderboards are down.

Hey guys,

We want to wait until there's fewer people online because there are so many playing online at the moment. We are targeting 2AM for a period of server downtime to fix the EASHL Stats Recording issue.

We have all the stats, they are there and your records will show up after this fix is put in. Thanks for your patience, and we're really happy that you all are having so much fun playing in the EASHL!

Kicksave and everyone else, to get into a good OTP match, go to:

"Live" tab, then down to "community" then "team play community."

Press "A" at the settings menu and you come to a full server of games being hosted by people. The best OTP games I've played have been hosted in this manner.

I've upgraded my offline player 3 times so far but not online yet. I guess I should look into that. I'd think speed would be what can kill online. The 3 points you get to upgrade for your online guy, are they able to go anywhere or like one point for each of the 3 categories?

I can score like crazy in my offline BAP guy. After 10 games at center I'm on the top AHL line (in Columbus' org.) and have 17 g and 5 assists. The computer is great at missing wide open nets on one timers.

I think I'm rocking a 1 point per game average online. After a few games I'm already noticing a difference at how we are playing online. I think everyone is getting more and more in the groove of playing an actual position as opposed to always being the guy with the puck. Our D the other night looked really good.
