Russia's probably afraid Ovechkin will "accidentally" collide into Malkin's head.... with his elbow

Roberto Luongo gets 1st start for Canada.

I like Patrice Bergeron with Sidney and Rick Nash.

Slovakia definitely without Gaborik and Satan for the game against the Czech Republic. Their injuries are apparently so bad that if those guys weren't who they are, the Slovak team would be calling the replacements.

Hossa still needs to get a medical clearance after his concussion, but he is considered "probable" by Czech and Slovak media.

Looks like Kessel's out there with Malone, unless that was during a line change.

Has anyone mentioned that Team USA's roster includes Ryan Malone, Ryan Kesler, Ryan Whitney, Ryan Milller, Ryan Suter, Ryan Callahan, and Bobby Ryan?

By the way, interview after the game, Jerome Iginla just said, "Sidney Crosby is the greatest hockey player in the world." and he smiled at the camera like....take that NBC tools of Ovechkin

The Malone - Pavelski - Kessel line looked pretty darn good.

Expected lines for Slovakia;

Halák - Višňovský, Štrbák, Chára, Sekera, Jurčina, Meszároš, Baranka - Pálffy, Stümpel, Zedník - Marián Hossa, Demitra, Marcel Hossa - Šatan, Handzuš, Bartečko - Radivojevič, Kopecký, Cibák.

Hossa brothers together!
Satan still uncertain - apparently he really wants to play, but still cannot hold a stick. Gaborik very likely out.

New Czech lines for the elimination game against Latvia. Ineffective Havlat demoted to the 4th line, Michalek paired with Jagr:

1: Erat, Plekanec, Eliáš
2: Jágr, Čajánek, Michálek
3: Červenka, Krejčí, Fleischmann
4: Havlát, Vašíček, Rolinek

In other news, Russian F Sergei Zinoviev done for the season following the knee injury caused by NT *and* club (Ufa of KHL) teammate Alexander Radulov during Sunday game against the Czech Republic (Radulov fell on Zinoviev while trying to hit David Krejci).

Ah man, I remember that. He got a penalty and he took his own guy out. Major fail.
