"misdemeanor for disorderly conduct, and defamation of a nation, race, or an ethnic group"

Punishment goes from the probation (expected in this case) to up to 3 years jail time.

Incidentally, Madeleine Albright is now being investigated for the same charge, after pro-Serbian protesters crashed her recent book signing in Prague (the same protesters reported her to the police). Apparently, during the resulting shouting match Albright uttered "disgusting Serbs". The protesters claim that since Albright is a Czech, she must have known that she was being yelled at by Czechs, and not Serbs. (I don't think she will be charged, but the police has to investigate all formal complaints).
