Stamkos (outside of last game) has been on a tear though. And his team is desperate fighting for that last spot.

I think it's honestly going to come down to the last game of the season.

midseason tiebreaker might as well be on games played, like the midseason standings tiebreaker works. Stamkos ought to enjoy being tied - it won't last long.

I'm sure if we're locked into a spot by then, Geno will get a lot of time with Sid the last couple games. Kinda like Sid's game against the Islanders a couple years ago when the soul purpose of the team was to get him the Rocket Richard.

Hmmm. Did Geno gain a point or did Stamkos lose one? I thought the margin was 3, but nhl.com shows as 4 over Stamkos and Giroux. Geno has the game in hand on both.

ps - is P. A. Parenteau of the Islanders really have more points than AO? (29th, 61 points vs worse than 30th? - not on NHL.com first page) I can't honestly recall if he was playing on Tavares' line or not.
