Sure, the 2014 Olympics are still 2 years away, but I thought it would be interesting to look at the potential members of Team USA for the Sochi games. All potential candidates as well, Kraftster. Like I said, the talent pool with the 2014 team is extremely deep. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Disco as part of the coaching staff. Whoever is the GM of that team is going to have to make some tough choices, though it is a good problem to have.

Not sure if the team or the country will up to Tim Thomas' standards at that point so you can probably rule him out. He sure did have no qualms about putting the jersey on in 2010 while he rode the bench.

What's the scoop on Silfverberg? I've heard some people really high on him coming over and stepping right into the NHL next year?

He and Jarnkrok are both awesome vs seniors this year. Silfverberg is more of a solid two way forward however so maybe he'll establish himself in the NHL more quickly.

And on OEL I would not say surely. No way. He's a great prospect, yes, but we're just stacked on D now. And in an offensive role there's Karlsson, Enstrom, Edler and Kronwall all taking spots already. But yeah I should add him to the back ups.
