Ha, so my wife watches That Project Runway show and Sean Avery is a guest judge or whatever.
They announced him as a "Rangers Hockey Star" among other very complimentary things. Poor timing considering he isn't even in the NHL.

To add to this, my cousin is a fashion design major at Parsons New School in NYC and she's ata fashion panel consisting of Common, Sean Avery, and some other guy according to her FB post. Her observation is," I didn't know he was a hockey player, doesn't look and knows a lot more about fashion than a hockey player should.". I just had to laugh!
