Rinaldo is like a less talented Steve Downie 2.0 in Philly. Reckless and doesn't care. Didn't really clean up his game until he left Philly (but still isn't a clean player) and is a decent player. I doubt Rinaldo ever scores 10 goals at the NHL level though, let alone 20 like Downie did.

where's the logic in that? isn't shanny's whole thing about escalating punishments? if he got the first fine, he has a history. the 2nd fine, whether it happens 20 games later, or 20 mins later, should be worth a suspension. it's actually WORSE that he had 2 incidents in the same game. i still don't get how that slewfoot isn't suspendible

He lost more by getting 2 fines totalling 5000 than he would have forfeited by being suspended for a game. His salary is THAT low.
