Eh...they gave him 2 for being a jerkdick...that's the max you can give for a player doing very little wrong and just hitting him on the "knock if off" principle.

Interesting that Shannahan refers to the previous 'dangerous trip' on Parise as a slewfoot in his explanation video for the suspension.

He is clearly mistaken. A slewfoot is an automatic game misconduct and suspendable per the rule book.
