He probably didn't have a job by choice.
Remember that he announced he was going to take the year off and re-evaluate his overall health?
He would get a job in Europe in a heartbeat, and probably a handful off offers in the NHL if he wanted to, IMHO. Assuming he was healthy, that is.
So injury prone, though. Only got over 43 games twice since the lockout, and not once since 07/08.

Probably difficult staying in shape with a hip injury. Plus with his wife probably having crazy eating habits, he probably has joined in. Best of luck to him and hopefully he has no long term problems because of his hip.
