Wow amazing goal. Also interesting to note. The kid that scored is also the kid in this video.

I think I'm more impressed by the fact that there were two camera angles at a high school hockey game.

Ha ha, I was just thinking the technology at the high school was better than what my NCAA D2 school has to offer.

Zack Morris could freeze time. But he only played basketball and ran track.

Honestly, as a rec leaguer with pretty good hands, this goal is so mindblowing to me. I don't even know how to start to try to learn this move. I can lacrosse-style pick the puck up on my forehand on fresh ice with no pressure, but to do it on my backhand on a breakaway IN A GAME, and then roof it also. God. IMO, this is the sickest hockey goal I've ever seen scored.

While he's bigger than most hs kids, trying a move like that is a good way to get yourself killed in jr or college hockey.

I thought there where rules preventing players (yes even in high school) from craddling the puck like that

Why would that rule exist?

I remember hearing this, too. It was after the Michigan play picked it up behind the net and put it in. I'm not sure which league, though.
