You are probably right. However, I could see this getting "some" wheels. There would need to be more involved. Buffalo would need a goaltender back (Crawford?) and maybe Boyes goes to Chicago. It could get some traction though.

I don't think that Chicago would do that. Miller seems like he's been on a down slide and Kane is a pretty good forward. Is it rumored that he's available?

That would be a huge change to a team that is 1 season removed from a SC.

Certainly there are cheaper ways to get an improvement in goaltender.

Unless there is some unhappiness with Kane in Chi management that I don't know about?

The Hawks are winless in 8. If Hawks fans are anything like Pens fans, they're already calling for the coaches and GM's head and demand about half a dozen trades to shake things up. The bigger the trade, the better the results. That's how it works.

And why would BUF sell off their goaltending, it's not like they have somebody blocked that could step in and take over for Miller

Buffalo has the cash and some chips but I highly doubt Chicago will
