Former Wings defenseman Jiri Fischer, who had to retire in '05 because of a heart problem, told the Free Press he'd "love to play in the alumni game. All Ken has to do is ask."

The Wings could have so many players available for the Winter Classic alumni game between former Wings and former Maple Leafs that two games will be needed. Holland said he's going to sit down with Tom Wilson, President & CEO of Olympia Entertainment, "at some point and decide what we're going to do."
