If that's all Philly's planning on adding...

I like our chances.

Seems like a pretty steep price to pay for a guy who is a fringe top 4. I guess he's a big body that can fill 1/10 of Pronger's shoes.

I'm just glad they didn't go after Weber and I guess it takes them out of the Schenn sweepstakes.

Nice deal. Grossman is a big, angry man. Not exactly fleet of foot but his size is a huge deterrent. Don't like having him in the division.

fast analysis from kevin allen
He has played 333 NHL games, and the rule of thumb is defensemen figure out the position when they have played 300 games. He's not known for his offense (five assists this season). He has 100 blocked shots, which ties his career best for an entire season and would rank him third on the Flyers.

As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, TB trades Dom Moore and 7th round pick to SJ for a 2nd round pick. Done deal.

Moore now moving to west coast teams!

Maybe a thread title change is in order?
He's not necessarily the hallmark of the 2012 trade season.

Flyers must have a lot of picks. The 2nd rounder was from LA and the 3rd was from Minnesota...

Nothing wrong with slightly overpaying if you feel you can win it all in my opinion....
