They could have had him for nothing via waivers a few days ago (yesterday?) Why trade for him?

I'd say Rolston is useless, but the Bruins got blood from a stone with Recchi for a couple years after we discarded him. So he may be serviceable in that lineup.

Recchi was never this useless. Hell, Recchi was never useless imo.

Sure... guess it remains to be seen. I'm more apt to say this is a pointless move for Rolston, but I won't be 100% shocked if he provides at least some minimal value to the Bruins.
