These guys finished 22nd in the NHL in scoring with 210 goals... I guess that's what happens when you forecheck like crazy and you spend a ton of time in the offensive zone. And he defends the LA Kings as well, who were 29th overall with 194 goals.

What's worse is he's gonna win the Jack Adams this year. I'm not a fan. Never was, never will be. With obstruction back and teams like the Blues succeeding, it's clear the NHL is going back to the pre-lockout dark ages and coaches like Hitchcock are responsible for it...

well with your goal scoring totals, either you play defensive or you suck at offense. if i were coaching them, i'd pick the former.

They also have had great goaltending this season. That helps.

I don't like Hitchcock, but he did a great job this year in turning the Blues season around and absolutely deserves the Jack Adams
