Anyone else love the West matchups? Good to see Detroit and Chicago go against each other for the last time in the West.

Definitely. Chi/Det: a long time rivalry, O6 teams that will be split up next year. LA/SJ - Cali battle, two big teams, lots of puck possession, two goalies that have played really great in these playoffs.

Only potentially rough part about this is the overlap of times with the Eastern teams because Detroit is Eastern time zone and Chicago is Central. Probably gonna see some 8 pm starts with 7 & 7:30 starts for Pit/Ott and NYR/Bos (or whoever).

They've set the first DET/CHI game for 8 PM. I think that's perfect for us in terms of switching over for full attention to the CHI/DET game after watching the Pens/other East series.

Toronto dominated game 6. I really think they pull off the upset. Even though Reimer looks like butt [most of the time].

Ha, if they win tonite and he has another good game he's probably going on mikey's Conn Smythe tracker much to his chagrin. He's been excellent in the series, despite the fact that Boston is carrying the majority of play. They are putting up something like 40 shots a game.

He didn't have too tough of a night last night all things considered, but yeah, if he steals one like he did in game 5, that would really get him on my radar. I have nothing against the idea or him, he's just not anything more than average or thereabouts. Nothing special about him. That said, if he can outright steal two elimination games in hostile territory, he'll certainly get my attention...

I'd much rather see Rags vs. Bruins and let them beat on each other. Assuming we can get to the finals, Toronto, and to a lesser extent Washington, would probably pose the biggest threat in terms of what style kills us.

Toronto play similar to the Islanders with more skill, are even faster and have a better goaltender. I want no part of them.

Toronto doesn't scare me. Holtby, Lundqvist. and Rask do.

I am loving it. Ducks and BB FAIL yet again. Don't underestimate Mike Babcock the HC, even if his team isn't as strong as in years past. Good enough to beat the sorry Ducks.

Bruins or Leafs, what say you? I'm thinking a one-side victory for the Bruins.

4-1 Bruins
3-1 Caps

(In all honesty, the fact that 3 of these 4 teams will be gone in the next 2 weeks is good enough for me)

I never get a feel for other teams until they play the penguins. R Carlyle may have to eat those words about Sid and hockey Gods. I think the leafs win. It appears to be easier on the road for a game 7.
