Boston either has a lot of guys that flop, or guys that should be playing D league beer hockey because they can't skate, take a hit, a whack, or anything. The fact that Julien is always in the media whining about diving is lamentable.
A lot of the Bruins guys have some pretty iffy skating strides...not defending them, but a lot of them fall down at an above average rate.
Burish is definitely a diver, I'll say that much. I don't really keep a blackbook on things like that though...interesting that we don't have (m)any divers vs. the rest of the class of the league. Only on LGP would you read something like that - right or wrong
i don't think crosby was ever a diver. he embellished a little too much, but "diving" is a different beast.
prust, marchand, ribiero...these guys dive.
as for the pens, letang has dove the most out of anyone in the lineup, but it's not that common. in recent history, i think christensen was our biggest diver. adams is a guy who loves turning his back to draw boarding calls. overall, i don't think we're too high on the list of dishonorable teams. maybe somewhere right in the middle or low-middle.
