For Randy Robitaille?? Robitaille is waiver material. I am sure that the Isles are saving cap space for a reason. But at least get a prospect and a pick, Randy Robitaille? ugh...

Looks like ol' Garth Snow finally found himself a trading buddy in Philly... go figure since he used to play for them.

No other GM in the league will take him seriously.

Garth is planning something larger. He's traded a 3.5 million salary of a mediocre #3 defensemen, and he's traded an underacheiving winger with a 2.85 million salary for someone who is producing the same. He's replaced them with two guys making the league minimum. So Philadelphia has taken on 6.35 million dollars of contracts for two guys who won't help them, and New York has opened up 5.5 million of cap space to trade for someone who will. This is a great move.

Randy was getting top line time in Philly. He also had more points in less games than York.

another great move by Snow to unload York's contract for a warm body and another draft pick. I gotta assume the Islanders are up to something to acquire a top line player now or preparing for an UFA this summer.

What are the Flyers thinking? Their team sucks and they acquire 2 bad contracts from a division rival. It makes no sense.

Maybe the GM is purposely tanking the season. But the Flyers would never do that. Only inferior teams like the Pens would do something that unholy.
