I saw the NIke Swift jerseys up close...

Postby netwolf on Fri Mar 03, 2006 11:24 pm

KoSports in Canonsburg has a bunch of different countries - USA, Canada, Czech, Russia, Germany that I saw. I think a few others as well. I believe they were $75, but am not sure...

The fabric looks really odd, almost like paper! Really odd look to it...

That aside, they don't look as bad as I thought they would. They were all blank - no letters or numbers.

I still prefer the existing ones though. The streamlined look belongs on a speed-skater or skier. Hockey players should have a loose fitting jersey that flaps in the wind as they tear up the ice. :)

I haven't seen them up close, but from what I have seen of them, I think they are ugly. I dont like the way the numbers look either.

Of all the things the NHL needs to change, the uniform isn't one of them.

I agree, the current ones are better. These things aren't very good, just not as abysmal as I was expecting.
