Its official, the game is fixed. Now we at least know why the Pens have been getting the short end of the stick all year.

Another character check for this team. They just went from being tied at 3 to having to kill a penalty. Let's see how they respond.

Ekamn summed up my feelings exactly. If the ref was doing his job he would have been in position to make the call correctly to begin with.

I like how their crappy new arena DOESNT HAVE OVERHEAD CAMERAS... Mellon Arena does. something needs to be done about that, cause that was a crap call. Also who was standing in front when it hit his skate. why wouldnt he throw it in just in case... ahhh so butt.

Moore, he should have been in there hacking which leads me to beleive that he seen it completely cross and he also thought he was in the NHL and not some Red Neck garage league.

In any event the team has responded to the challenge!!

LETS GO PENS!!!!

Isn't the ref supposed to be behind the net in that situation?

According to the broadcast team, they DO have the overhead camera. It just wasn't available to the TV crew. The league offices in Toronto looked at it and ruled the replay inconclusive.

I am curious

Postby Andrew on Sat Nov 11, 2006 10:17 pm

could you actually see the puck over the line in the replay? If not, it might be the case that there are actually overhead cameras, and it was in fact not a goal.

man...the puck was at moore's feet with no one on him and he decides to celebrate the non-goal instead on putting it in for good.

Horrible goal by T-bo. Not that it mattered, the refs weren't going to let us win this one anyway.

T-Bo is the reason the Pens are even in the game to begin with.

that soft goal would have never happened if Gonchar didnt stink.

Im glad yu blame Gonch to pushing him to the far outside for a horrible angle shot... and JT makes a horrible save. so horrible--it didnt happen. Dont blame stuff on Gonchar. Blame stuff on Moore, who should've stuffed the puck in, negating the powerplay, and losing out tempo.
