Evening gentlemen. This is my first start of the year, so let's see if I can make it 2 periods without blowing up entirely. I'll be cranking up Renegade and Enter Sandman here in a minute. Just because it doesn't happen often, here are the standings:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/standings
I get giddy just thinking about the fact that the Pens have a chance to get well against the Flyers. It's usually the other way around. Let's keep it going tonight, shall we?
If they lose, MAF should be cut immediately, and Malkin traded for a 3rd rounder. Oh, and the coaching staff, GM, scouts and beer vendors should all be fired immediately. Anything less is insulting to the fans.

Flyers are going to play tough...I smell a bloodbath.
This could also easily turn into a shootout...6-4 or something along those lines. I'd love to see Gonch break out for a 1 goal/4 assist night and get his 500th point in the process.

So does Cairns dress?
I think we beat Philly easily, but them getting dirty is what worries me.. They were running around Saturday night.

Interesting. "Enter Sandman" is also being played right before kick-off at the games of Arminia Bielefeld. It works, we are currently in 5th place and threatening to become an established Bundesliga-Club.

The announcers said it was because of illness. Anyone know the other scratches

Malkin is centering Leclair and Quellete? Poor guy.
Note to Therrien: Play the on line who has been able to win Pens games!

These lines are garbage. Rex drags anyone with speed down, Army makes no one else better and Oulet and leclair are north south guys who won't work well with Malkin.
I'd actually like to see the big line back togetehr and then Leclair, Staal and Rex on the 2nd line. Eevn the announcers commented that he's rather be a one line team than a two player team.

Look on the bright side. We know they won't be together very long.

Against this team they may as well stack the top line because they don't have ANY defensmen to worry about. Not only that, it's a home game. So they get the last change anyways. I actually like what I have seen between Ouellet and Malkin thus far. Ouellet plays a simple game and finshes, Malkin is a superstar who can set him up. Possible line balance.
