say what you will about whitney, but without him, that play doesn't happen. he used his reach, his skating and his passing to spring a very rare breakout.

Then he goes getting scrappy in Army's defense... wow

Colby needs to beef up, I hope he is OK. Props to WHit for getting in there and mucking it up, he showed me something.

Wow, Whitney rushing to the defense of Armstrong. Insert your own "hit him with your purse" joke here.

And Whitney is even in my book tonight. He showed some guts going after Hatcher there.

Awesome goal. Hopefully someone kills Hatcher during this fight.

Big props to Whitney. He was the first man in there after Armstrong got hit. I hope Armstrong's okay. That was a nasty fall.

He sprung the Malkin breakaway vs. Tampa Bay. One of the best breakout passes you will ever see.

That wouldn't be good... he's really a benefit to the Pens when he's on the ice these days.

so now what? we squeaked one out when it should have been another 8-2 game. should we be happy we won despite very bad luck or should we be worried that we couldn't put away the most rotten team in the NHL until the very end?
