How about LeClair!
He doesn't kill penalties, he doesn't hit, but he does fall down in open ice turning the puck over which results in a goal.
I've never seen a guy fall down more without anyone around him.
You can't blame that goal on LeClair, after Tbo made 2-3 great saves our guys should've at least iced it, instead everyone was trying to be a goalie

Maybe everybody assumed he could make a routine peewee level play without dieing alive. Panic set in immediately.

you're right, however, why did the barrage of chances even start?
..because LeClair had the puck with nobody around him and as per usual fell on his own....therefore the puck was turned over, our guys were leaving the zone, boom, chances start.
He's not doing anything for this team right now and he should at least be scratched one game at least. He's earned it.

He gets to share it in because if he hadn't fallen down for no reason he had a very easy clear.

Sure! When you have bums like Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar, and Whitney on your PP, you can't possibly skate the puck into the zone.
Well our offensive gameplan, even strength, is to cross into the off. zone and automatically look to pass. Doesn't matter that there's 2 opponents covering the guy you try to pass to.

Because Biron made a gutsy move to knock it away and the Sabres picked up possession...

Thorburn is playing a great game. Seems to be in the mix all the time, banging bodies, tipping pucks, playing gritty.

..oh and I'll even say Thibault is playing well too...he's made a few timely saves to keep us in it.

what kills me is the fact that Buffalo is collapsing down low on the net on us which leaves our D open, yet we're not getting any shots through!!

At least Welch didn't just stand there and watch the breakaway attempt. And how about Whitney dumping Vanek for taking a swipe at Thibault's glove?
