I'd be happy if he just comes up with a better strategy of getting the puck into the zone on the power play, keeping it there, and generating some offense once it's set up. But right now, we can't even get the damn thing set up.

If you're going to dump it in because they're stacking guys at the blueline, they have to have someone to chase it in. They can't skate it in, so they dump it in, but no one busts their tail to dig the puck out.

Frustrating...

Malkin should be carrying the puck up ice and working a point.

Recchi should. Let him and Gonchar play the point
Staal, Crosby, Malkin on the forwards

Recchi can lug it on the second unit. Malkin and Gonchar work the point on the top unit. Recchi and Whitney on the second unti.

UNIT 1
Ouellet-Staal-Crosby
Malkin-Gonchar

UNIT 2

Armstrong-Talbot-Ekman
Recchi-Whitney

Sick move by Crosby kicking the puck up, and how about that blind pass by Malkin?

I get the sense quite a bit that those two are so far ahead of many of the other guys on this team in terms of their pure skill. It makes me wonder sometimes if some of the problems this team has generating offense is due to the fact that no one else on this team sees the game the same way Crosby and Malkin do.

Remember what I said earlier. We'll score and press hard for a third, but come up short.

Now if we attain wicked pressure, my prediction will come true. LOL

great skating by Whitney to prevent that goal....like I've always said, he turns 10 seconds too late!

Hate is a really big word, but I honestly think I hate Whitney. Even more than Tucker! Even when he plays decent, I still hate him. haha

Drury cheats on faceoffs. He moves forward before the puck is dropped. His skates are not set on the faceoff lines.
