He's definitely become the heart of the Rags. He'd be a great acquisition all around.

well, I guess I'll take the even-up call, but I would have preferred a SH-ENG

Sorry, but that was a really weak call. He touched, didn't even lift, but touched his hands with his stick for maybe...a half a second.
Maybe the refs are trying to help Jagr score that 600th...

what the heck are they talking about and why is it taking so long let's finish the game already don't give the Rangers anything.
ah huh the time from the break was 1:47 and after tv time out was 2:05 and the pens are questioning it. announcers making fun of how that is why pens need a new arena and one with a working clock.

Y'know... all the other teams in the league have picked up on the importance of dumping the puck in the corners, away from the trapezoid, ever since they put the darn thing in. When are the Pens gonna realize this?

Well I know they screwed up that time because at the beginning of the Rangers PP there was 2:17 left and over a half minute went off and then it went back to 2:17.

all that tallking about the time and it didn't change anything but waste time and give everyone a bigger rest. BUT the pens get the win so I guess I shouldn't complain.

hidden stat - both Malkin and Crosby have 9 goals on 45 shots, or a .20 shooting percentage - where Malkin has had 14 shots the last three games, and Sid only 6.

And kept Jags from getting #600 against the Pens (for now, anyway)

I'll be the bad guy here...... do we thank LeClair for not playing and falling down creating a turnover for this win or is this simply the young ones getting it done. Although it was Recchi getting two goals. When does the love for good ol Johnny come in or does it? since it seems he's been a favorite to hate lately.

I didn't miss him. Now if we could just get Eaton back, we'd be able to scratch Whitney too!

And I question whether Jagr is a team player anymore or ever was. Didn't he decline the captaincy last year as a Ranger... for what reason... he's been in the league 10 years now and still doesn't understand what it means to be a team player maybe. He's an awesome player to watch and would be great for a team that needs to add 1 more piece to a Stanley Cup team like with the Pens in the 90's, but he's not going to be a cornerstone anymore, nor was he ever with us -- and he proved that by ditching us when he could and times were tough.
LONG LIVE SIDNEY THE KING!!!
Jagr was never the corner stone on the Pens? You must've missed a couple of seasons =)

Good game by the Pens! Now, if only the Islanders could start losing. Why are they doing this good? =)

The game didn't exactly go down that way, did it?

True enough. Good luck getting people to admit it though.

I think it's time to give up the booing. Unfortuantely, in Pittsburgh, once they get it in their ehad to boo someone, it is for life.

Yeah that got kind of old after a while. I still respect Jags for all that he did when he was here. He didn't leave on the greatest terms but he is still a great player.
