I don't think Armstrong realized Prucha didn't have the puck.

That might be a candidate for the dumbest thing I've seen a Penguin do so far this year. What were you thinking, Colby?

This is not looking good, bad penalty by Armstrong for interference. MAF and the PK better be ready. Big MO shift in this game right now.

He should not play the rest of this game and at least the next game. He's doing nothing on the ice and now he does something retarded like this.

We deserve 2 points out of this game (so far). Hope we dont fall to pieces in the final minutes here and fall behind the pack in the Atlantic division.

Even if he did it would still have been a penalty for punching a guy to the ice.

Seeing the replay of it...yeah, that was pretty stupid. I thought at first that maybe he was just playing the man and didn't realize Prucha lost control of the puck.

Every goal isnt somebody's fault. That was just a lucky deflection...puck fell into Jagrs lap and he had an empty net. Gonchar didnt do anything wrong.
The putting words in people's mouth really needs to stop. I never blamed anyone, I never said Gonch did anything wrong. So what gives?
In the replay, the puck deflected off Gonchar's skate directly to Jagr. How could that be his fault??? Do you think I would SMILE if I was blaming Goncha? Geez. I don't get mad easily, but this is where all these stupid arguments begin.

The problem with the Jagr goal was no one moved to engage him as he flew through the slot. If someone does, it's likely he doesn't get his own rebound. Has nothing to do with Gonchar directing it to him off his skate, he had no control over that. If there was a fault by Gonchar it was that neither him or his partner engaged. But that is typical...

Recchi was the one shadowing him. He collided with Nylander on the way in and lost a step.
Otherwise, he probably has a decent chance to break that up.
OT forthcoming: LET'S GO PENS!!!!!!

When u spend an entire period in your own zone playing defense bad things happen. Penalties, goals, defensive mistakes, broken sticks, miscommunication, lucky bounces, etc.... With our shaky defense we need to have the puck at the other end of the ice and in that 3rd period we just didnt do anything offensively.

Melichar let Jagr blow through the slot, Gonchar released from his man and the puck hit his leg but went right back on jagr's stick.
Guys, it's Jagr, he's really good and he does that a lot. Combine that with Gonchar and melichar both not being very good in their own end he will score when he makes that move.
