Too many guys running around looking for a hit instead of playing the puck. Started with Ruutu and he missed and Welch tried a big hit and missed and that's how guys get open in the slot.

That faceoff is why it's nice to have a right handed center so he can shoot on the drop instead of trying to win it to the point.

Does this team have coaching that knows what time of day it is?

I like Recchi bringing the puck up, but why the **** is Staal on the bench when the #1 unit is on?

It's a good idea to have a righty out there to slam dunk a Crosby feed in. I'm all for seeing Staal work on the 2nd unit all the time. I also like watching Whitney work the right point more too, wonder where they got that idea? :wink:

What's the point of having Staal out there? Gonchar and Whitney can't help but get their shots blocked.

? about Bettman: I know he is the commiss. of the league but when he attends games if he sees some glaring problems like with the refs. (not so far tonight) but like the other night can he do or say anything about it to change it or is that not part of his job. Does he have the authority as far as job descrip. goes to request that the league or who ever is in charge of the refs. look at games that have been poorly officated and make recommendations for changes or does he not have that kind of authority. Just curious seeing as he is in Pitt. tonight, made me think of this. Any one know???

I know why they do these Bettman interviews, but aren't they kind of from the department of redundancy department? You don't need to convince anyone that's listening/watching that they need an arena.

I do agree, but since this gaming board is close to this decision I'm very happy that GB was in town giving us the redundancy speech.
