When DiPietro was pulled, did any of them ask where he went and then guess he thought the game was already over? That happened to me at a game when I had seats 3-4 rows of the glass.

I'm not kidding and sadly, neither were the people that said that.

No, they didn'y ask that because they left at the 9:00 to go mark of the third.

Sadly, that's the truth. Way before a pulling of Dipi could have ever occured.

I'm back!

Congrats to Colby! Sid was trying some serious hocus-pocus moves
and passes late in the 3rd to get Colby a hat trick.
R Dipietro had a super terrific save in the 1st~really one that
has stood out all year. (minus those saves by Flower versus flyers)
I like Geno being tough but he should always back away from
B Witt; let Sergei fight his fights. :P
Can Marc-Andre Flower really be 22? Congrats on winning this
close game. Pens may have been going extra hard for the 4th goal
and had a little trouble get back for the isles.
Brooks Orpik played well & steady!
Mark Recchi, he's got the happy feet working.

Sid, when he blocked a shot  held breath until he returned
to the ice. There is no half-speed, 3/4 qtrs with Sid~ you get 110%
or he's not playing. Even had his mouth working with Sean Hill . :P

I would rather have Sid put the puck in the net so hat there is no conscren over the other team typing it up. He really REALLY has to stop with the no look back passes. 95% of the time it is a direct turnover. I do not know if the opposing players are calling for the puck and fooling him or what... but it's getting bad...

The only penguin defenseman worse than Gonchar is Whitney.

I don't know, Orpik had quite the game last night, especially on the second goal.

Great summarizing a terrific game for the pens.

I would also like to point out that we could easily have had at least one additional goal in the 3rd if we didn't do everything we could to get Colby the HT

hahhaha you are very right. What was he doing a ong the boards?

I don't know, but then after that, he lost him going to the front of the net, opting to cover a guy who was already covered and turning his back on the play. Made Aaron Asham look sneaky, which is tough to do.
