I am definitely touchy about people putting words in my mouth or "reading between the lines". It's what causes 99% of the thread digression with the arguments.

I felt that's what you were doing. If you felt attacked, I apologize. That's not what I'm about.

To clarify my original post. I'm glad they're sticking up for each other. If you knew me, you'd know what a big deal that is to me. But I see our opponents picking up on how zealously the Pens will protect each other. I think they're doing it purposely because they know the Pens will take undisciplined and ill advised penalties in retaliation, and they're capitalizing on it. Therefore, the Pens need to be smarter when sticking up for each other. In the long run that will pay off better than always being on the PK.

If you don't agree with my assessment... that's ok. :D

The PP tonight has been fine as far as movement and chances go.

Come on, that play gets called every other game. The Dman put his stick between Sid's legs on the rush into the zone. That is what the rule changes were supposed to eliminate. Thank god, they finally called something on that series.

He was right, nothing has changed with this power play once they set up. Same old perimeter game.

The thing about bad ice, it makes Sid look even faster. :D His legs are so strong they may as well play on sand, it wont matter to him.

Well, Eaton comes back in two months, we need not worry about that now.

 I didn't see anyone complaining about Recchi last week when he was scoring two goals a game.

What's next are we going to start yelling that Fleury should go to Wilkes-Barre because he had a bad game last night.

When in the Ozone, he is a stranger in a strange land. In fairness, one of those passes looked like it was intended for a righty defensmen, that trade has'nt been made yet. :D

Guys at the end of their career are still going to have spurts where they play reasonably close to what they once were. But they can't sustain it for more than a few games. When he was scoring goals I STILL didn't like him

Recchi is at least our 5th best forward right now, if not 4th. Crosby, Malkin, maybe Armstrong if he continues to score... I mean go through this lineup, who the hell are the Pens' top 6 forwards, it's pathetic...
