i thought they only bought the land for the arena, not for the whole proposal. could be mistaken though

Board holding strong at 276. (Is there ANY amount of traffic that can rival netwolf's posting prowess?)

I know what's taking so long - the IOC voters have just killed the Harrah voters in a bloody rage. Meanwhile, They are on the phone with that Amish investor who wants to buy the pens.

From what I understand, it is the same land that will be used for Plan "B", if the Pens agree to it. No matter what, they are starting demolishion in January.

From what Onorato said, if the Pens leave, and Plan 'B' does not materialize, they are going to use if for other development.

The suspense is killing me....

Plus my office is relocating to another building as I type - so any minute now my desk and chair will likely get taken from underneath me and I'll lose my connection!

It all depends on if the Pens want to deal with Plan 'B' and if the NHL is true to their intentions of wanting to keep this market. Having the LEmiex group as owners again, and not knowing who the new owner will be now makes it very foggy. I'd say 50/50. I could be dead wrong.
