well, in a game that feeds off of people's responses, It came across as a very simple wolf tell--i might be wrong, but im sticking to what i've read.

What would the wolf gain or lose from the village knowing who the angel is? Nothing.

So, it gives the village one person they can kinda-sorta trust. Don't think that's a big advantage, at all.

I mean, what's done is done...I'm just wondering why what I said was somehow worse than slappy being completely oblivious as to why the seer might not have been protected

if the wolf already knows who the angel is, why wouldn't he/she speak up to benefit the village...late in games, especially with just 1 bad guy left, the village can use information on how the villagers/baddies interact with an outed angel. if the game comes down to three people, 1 good rp, 1 bad rp, and 1 reg villager, the information can be a crucial tidbit into figuring out who the villager is and who the wolf is.

im not saying that the game is going to get that far, but the information could be helpful. also, the village can look back at who tried voting for raising suspicion on the angel and trying to find the wolf that way. to say that the village not knowing who the angel is IS NOT beneficial to the village at this point--at least in my eyes.

i thought that the wolves might know my identity because they probably tried to kill me that one night. worst case scenario is that they go after me and i protect you cause you came out as the seer. i should have just outed myself after you died, but then there was a bunch of stuff being said about the angel then that i figured why do anything until i get some heat on me.

it was a conservative play on my part, but when your up big like we were i didn't feel the need to do anythign risky.

i liked the non-move on your part. im starting to get how you play. there were two posts of yours that i thought you made on purpose to try and gain some suspicion on yourself and i knew then you were the angel.

Yeah, worked out well. I was just pissed because I looked at my pm and saw I found the last wolf, then looked at the write-up and saw I was dead.
