Miller is getting the nod tonight and Ruff said Biron will be in goal friday then Miller again against Toronto.

Biron is solid. The game won't get any easier for the Pens with him in net.

The blocked shots and good defense that the Penguins exhibited last night have made me a bit more confident heading into Friday's game.

It will get easier, as Miller is the better of the two goalies. In fact, Miller, in my opinion, is one of the top goalies in the league. Biron is middle of the pack at best -- but he is still better than many of the starting goalies the Penguins face throughout the season.
So, while it will be easier facing Miller than Biron, it's not exactly like the Pens will be facing a traditional backup.

I posted this in the game thread yesterday, but I'll post it again. Does anyone else think Buffalo-Pittsburgh could be a great new rivalry in the upcoming years? I'd love to kick it off a hard fought season series and then a major upset in round 1 of the playoffs this year.

I thought the rivalry was very good in the '01 Playoffs. The games in Buffalo (where I lived at the time) were great!

Well, if the newly proposed realignment sticks for next year, we will be seeing them more often.

I hope it doesn't. I really dislike the idea of the Pens not being in a division with the other teams that used to be in the Patrick division.

Well after Miller let in 6 goals against Ottawa I think he needs a rest.

I am NOT looking forward to this match up, especially after Buffalo got shelled by Ottawa. They'll be looking to avenge that loss.

I said the same thing about Carolina after their loss to Philly.
It's a good opportunity for the Penguins to jump early, get some chippy shifts in and get momentum on their side.
I actually like the Penguins chances.
