Why do you have all these bugs around you, and you better have eaten that bug, you kill it, you eat it.

You collect? When I was younger, I was big-time into it. Used to set them so the legs and wings looked good and let them dry. Then, I had glass display cases I kept them in. Did that all through my teen years -- nothing left of it now.

I took an entomology course in college and 60% of our grade was an insect collection. Had to have atleast 60 unique specimens from 16 orders. I had probably over 120 in three display cases. The school wanted to keep two of them of my best specimens to tech from so I still have one but some are in rough shape lol. I had a blister beetle who's head fell off so I glued it on

That's cool! Mine was just a hobby I picked up from my dad. My best was when i was 16, I went to Florida... I smuggled a bunch of cockroaches and beetles back in my suitcase! The roaches there were huge and they wouldn't die!

Locust's are much larger body wise (girth) almost beatle like in the thorax. I would agree by the wings that it's a dragon fly in bad shape.

You should see the ones in southern CA. FLA roaches have nothing on them, believe me as I have seen both in the military. You can actually hear them at night ... and they might even show up on radar.
