Recent developments by Japanese scientists have led to the invention of a synthetic form of human blood called “Tru Blood.” With the creation of Tru Blood, the vampire population around the world has come out of the coffin. Many vampires have been able to go mainstream and fully integrate themselves into human society, surviving on synthetic Tru Blood instead of the real deal. Meanwhile, other vampires strongly resist the mainstream movement, looking down upon the inferior human race and continuing to feast upon the blood of fresh human kills.

While human knowledge of the supernatural race of vampire has increased, most humans remain in the dark about the many other supernatural races that live among them, including werewolves, shapeshifters, and fairies. The small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana is a hot bed of supernatural activity and society. The citizens of Bon Temps have learned that all is certainly not what it seems in the bayou.

I can probably take up to 25 and have everyone still have a named role, so I'll probably have to cut it off there if a lot of sign-ups start rolling in.
