Pretty sure the Pens didn't retain his rights. If you search the Pens forum, I'm pretty sure Jesse had a thread discussing it at the time it occurred.

He had 6 points in his first game at Kingston this weekend. 3g - 3a

After the Pens cut him loose, did he go back into the draft or become a UFA? Did anyone draft/sign him since?

nothing happened. He's back in juniors with Kingston for his last year

Well I wish him luck in his last year of juniors. Maybe he can turn enough heads to get a tryout somewhere next September.

This, I hope he catches on in the Atlantic, knocks the Pens out of the playoffs, and then poops on Shero's driveway.
