Enjoying FF3 thus far. Seems to be playing very similar to FF5 thus far. I'm guessing the job system will be less advanced and thus not as sweet later on, but still pretty early overall.

Kind of stuck in a difficulty bind with NHL Slapshot. On "All-Star" difficulty I can win games 7-1, 6-2. On "Superstar" difficulty, my goaltender can't stop anything, and all of my checks bounce off of the opposing player who doesn't even break stride or lose the puck, so I lose 4-0 or 5-1.

I wish there were some sliders so I could adjust that sort of thing.

The reviews for this game were disappointing, to put it mildly. Said that it was so glitchy and buggy it wasn't fun to play. Let me know what you think

I think in terms of pure simulation it's 10x better. I like the fact that it actually takes strategy to win rather than just spamming uppercuts.

What I like:
The striking is much better with the FNR4 system
the ground game is authentic with hitting and using strategy to pass gaurds.
submission system is easier on the hands, compared to UFC.
The blood and knock out system is great. Blood stays on the body and smears, and the flash knock out is freaking spectacular.

What I don't like:
Load times are little long if playing with the disc
Some guys look like a balloon body all blown up.

Pretty far in FF3 now. I'd say it's like FF5 lite overall. The job system isn't quite as advanced (no surprise there). The music isn't as good either. It's not bad, but there really aren't any memorable tunes... which is disappointing.

I'm at a slow point right now though. I'm close to the end of the game, but I just changed jobs with 3 of my 4 characters so I have a lot of building to do to get them up to speed for the last leg. It's frustrating though because there seems to be a max of 3 enemies. Since you have 4 characters, if all of your physical attackers can kill in one attack, you basically need to have one of them do nothing to get to the mage so they can get job experience.

Do it. If you have a Fable 2 saved game you can load it into Fable 3 and play as your characters son or daughter. I just hope I get to keep some of his money cause my Fable 2 character owns every building and business in the game and therefore is loaded.

One of my favorite parts of Fable is that your income still generates even when the system is turned off. Every 30 minutes your character receives his/her income so if you turn the system off for 6 hours and then reboot the game you will receive 12 sets of income all at once. I think there is a limit but it's more than a few days since I one left the game for a few months and turned it back on to find a 9 figure payday.

I have been so busy that I completely forgot about Fallout and Fable. 2 Weekends from now i'll get one of them. This weekend will be too busy though.
