For the rest of the 3 mile trip, I had my arm out the window holding the tree down in cold, gusting winds. Pretty sure I had a mild case of frostbite/a pulled muscle.

I bought a pre-lit tree this year. My old tree needed replaced, and Target had a great sale on them.
Went up in a snap, looks really nice and just enough lights (100 lights for a 4 foot tree), and it comes with spare bulbs in case one goes out.
So far I'm happy, but's it's only been a day.
