Wonder why so many of them are playing on top of their games? um, its an olympic year.

As we well know, with that bunch, its more about olympic medals than stanley cups. After much of their team wins the gold, watch the rags tank in the remainder of the year. Their dumb fans havent realized it yet. wait till they go up 2-0 on Phily in the playoffs, then quit.

the Rangers weren't even close. This year, they are 14 games over .500 with 30 games to go. It is going to take a major crash for them to finish under .500. In this era of OT and SO, that makes it even harder. Even the Pens couldn't lose more than 10 in a row, and given the Rangers play thusfar, I don't see it happening to them.
