The Flyers jersey is a callback to the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NHL, actually. When that team had to pack up and move to Philly, they adopted the "Quakers" mascot at kept the same basic jersey design and made it orange.

- Only red on the jersey will be on the logo.
- The secondary wing mark will be on the shoulders.
- Will most likely sport a 2 toned blue look.
- Will have traditional striping. No piping or color patches.

Love the throwback Oilers. Love the new Kings whites. Nashville's don't do it for me. Too gimmicky. Tampa is kind of blah. Florida's should be baby blue and white with a large red "N" thing and a white "L" like a hockey stick and a red puck.

You know, they should do the opposite and just embrace the purple look entirely and maybe do the 1988-89's a few times a year. Spare me the "wuss" argument about purple. It works for other pro sports teams (lakers, vikings, ravens) Why be like half the league and wear black?

Man, I really wish they'd drop red from their pallet. That would look so much better if the gloves were white.

I don't like the look of the Isles jersey. Why black? I would prefer the Isles to go back to an orange alternate like they had before. They could tweak it and I am sure it would look better than that black piece of garbage above. I like the look of the vintage Sens. Classic.
