Sids interviews put me to sleep, so a press confrence is going to be even worse. Someone just post a few words to sum up his press confrecnce. But of course all of Canada will be there to report it. Sid will say nothing that we havn't heard befor.

Wouldn't it be funny if they got the scoop while the "home of the Pens, the X" and the Pens beat writer are still guessing.

Tim Benz and whoever thinks its going to be bad news should be checked into a mental hospital. Are they totally fogetting that Sid is going to an NHL Media event in NYC directly after the presser? What, so Crosby is going to say "I'm taking the year off. Can't answer any more questions here though, I need to catch a flight to New York and do some marketing for the NHL, despite the fact that I am taking the year off."

Its either going to be good news, or no news at all. If there was bad news coming, the NHL would not want their media event derailed by concussion questions for Crosby. The NHL would not use a concussed star who needs to sit out the year for marketing purposes

Also, the Penguins seem to be urging fans to watch on their website, facebook and twitter - I can't help but believe that they would not be promoting something that would be bad news.

Tim Benz has become the most annoying "sports guy" in Pittsburgh. I really think since the introduction of The Fan, every sports talk show host has even tried harder to get yinzer nation in a tizzy. And Tim Benz leads the pack with his off-the-wall sports conspiracies and terrible analysis. I guess they need that for a larger audience, but it is incredibly annoying

What kind of news would be classified as good news today? Just curious what the possibilities could be. If he was having symptoms a few weeks ago, could much have really changed in that time to have good news today? I guess it's possible that the symptoms Shero talked about happened earlier in the summer and he's been symptom free for a while now.

I think good news would be that he is starting camp on time.
No news would be he is progressing and when he will be cleared is still unknown. Bad news would be he had a setback and is shutting down for a period of time.

(Just my opinion)

I'm guessing we aren't going to know anything more after today than we know now. I think this is really just serving to have Sid speak publicly more than it is for him to announce something noteworthy.

Take Bleacher Report articles with a grain of salt, any Joe Schmo can write an article on there.
